Romance goes along with the importance and beauty of implementing it into our lives. Almost every individual has been in a relationship, is in a relationship, or will be in a relationship. The older one gets and the more mature they become, the more powerful, and the more they will be able to understand how romance is so many different things. However we’re not here to discuss romance and relationships with others. This brings us to the plot.

The importance of romanticizing life. Romanticizing life means to focus on your own specific goals and achieving them. It allows you to embrace changes, learn new things, and grow into the person you strive to be. It means drawing attention to the little things in life each day and giving it love and attention. Take the time to break down daily routines. Take waking up in the morning for school or work as an example. Dreading waking up early due to staying up all night cramming in time for a test, or you may just simply hate going to school. Instead of waking up and being mad because of seven hour day of lectures, open the blinds and watch the sunrise or listen to the birds chirping. It doesn’t have to be a huge change in daily life, but by allowing yourself these simple pleasures it could change your entire day and your attitude. The more you do it the more joy you will find in little things. As you become a happier person you will begin to attract certain things into your life.

The next topic of conversation which is about a persons vibrational wavelength. Every single human being are vibrating at a certain frequency. But depending on how they live life, view situations, and how open their mind is will determine the vibrational frequency. The happier one becomes and the more open they are will raise the vibration. The higher the vibration the more able to attract the things you want in life. It also allows for you to have stronger manifestations.

NCHS Junior Macey Hutchison says, “Romanticizing life and affirmations have impacted my life in many ways. It has helped me to stop waiting for a reason to get up and has settled a lot of my depression.”

The power of manifestation and law of attraction go hand and hand with each other. This is also where affirmations come in. If you are constantly telling yourself you aren’t good enough or that you’re a screw up your brain will eventually start to believe it. If you don’t believe you are a strong enough individual and you believe that you aren’t good enough to accomplish what you want, you will not be able to attract the thing you want in life to you. The more you start to believe and know that you are powerful, strong, and unstoppable you will be. You will begin to see change in your life that you never would have thought you were ready for or get the opportunity at. “In the New Thought spiritual movement, the Law of Attraction is a pseudoscience based on the belief that positive or negative thoughts bring positive or negative experiences into a person’s life.”

NCHS senior Grace Washington says, “Before law of attraction and meditation I mostly blamed my problems on my surroundings but it helped me to realize that some issues came from my own things that I let build up. It opened my mind to realize that we’re all human. It helped me cope with everyday things that most people could handle but I couldn’t and it took looking inside myself to realize why.”

The more positive thoughts and experiences you have will determine what you are capable of. Nobody is responsible for you and your choices except for yourself. You decide what you want and how you get there. Just don’t forget to stop and smell the flowers along the way.
