Incoming freshmen NCHS welcomes you to begin your journey to graduation. Though it may seem like four years is a long time, the seniors might disagree. Time fly’s when your in high school. You will have tons of exciting opportunities in these year that you’ll wanna take a chance on. Now just because there are a lot of new excited adventures waiting for you doesn’t mean you won’t have some drama, bad days, or stressful tests for you to take. High school can be kind of a lot sometimes and it’s completely okay to be scared or nervous your first day or your first year. Hopefully after you real this you’ll feel a little better

Drama is annoying and will only cause you more stress. This includes not starting rumors about other people, don’t bully other’s, don’t pick unnecessary fights with students. The less drama you involve yourself in, the less trouble you will have to worry about. Now look, if your stay out of trouble you can have so much fun. You can play sports, join clubs, attend dances, be apart of the class offices, NHS, and so much more. Don’t waste time getting in trouble when you could be getting involved and having fun.

Do what it says above. Just do it because in the long run being late too many times is just going to put you in a position you don’t want to be in. If you are late to the same class four times you get a one hour detention, if you are late five times you get a two hour detention, and it just gets worse from there. Now if you just aren’t going to show up then at least have your parents call the school. Failure to have someone call and just being marked unverified too many times will cause the same punishment.

You’re just kids still and kids tend to act a little wild. Hint on getting the seniors to like you is by staying out of they way during passing period, don’t walk extremely slow, don’t stand in the middle of the hallway, and just stop the yelling. It is understandable to be stressed your first day, it’s completely new territory. Just remember that you’ve made it this far and you really are almost there. High school is nothing to be scared of.

It’s okay to change! You’re gonna meet a lot of new people and make a lot of new friends. You’ll make lots of memories you’ll cherish the moment. Keep in mind that not every moment needs to be captured in pictures and videos. Anyways, it’s normal to go through a lot of different phases in these years. It is just a stepping stone to getting to know yourself. You will probably change a lot and teachers you had in elementary school probably won’t even recognize you and that’s okay. Express yourself, you have the power to be whoever you wanna be.

Next stop, high school. Good luck to all the incoming freshmen. NCHS wishes nothing but the best on your journey to graduation. You have to be here so better to make it fun then to always be bored.
