Every year, New Castle High School has a convocation on the topic of Anti Bullying. New Castle invites speakers from all over the country to come and present themselves and their platforms. Previously noted speakers have been Nick Vujicic, who serves as a motivational speaker. Vujicic was born with a rare disorder called Tetra-Amelia syndrome, characterized by the loss of arms and legs.

This year’s speaker will be Grammy Nominated Musician and Entrepreneur SaulPaul, who calls himself “A Musician With A Message.”  SaulPaul is dedicated to traveling around the country telling his story from tragedy to triumph and is committed to #BeTheChange.

SaulPaul calls himself “an entertaining artist who blends his voice, his guitar, and his loop pedal to create a live show that is nothing less than an experience.”  SaulPaul believes in sharing his message through his heart and his music.

SaulPaul has performed at many national and international concerts, has performed at the John F Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, one of the most significant performing arts buildings in the country, presented 3 TEDx Talks, has performed at 5 Super Bowls, SXSW, Austin City Limits, and has been featured on America’s Got Talent. He has told his life story from transitioning from Tragedy to Triumph on Tower to Tower as well as in his Be The Change Memoir.

Recently, SaulPaul founded Change Water, a socially conscious organization that donates to the community for each case of water sold.

SaulPaul’s new Album, Okay To Be Different, is aimed at inspiring kids to be themselves and not care about what anyone thinks. “This album is all about the heart and mindset. My goal is to inspire kids to celebrate their individuality through acceptance of others and self-confidence. If I had to describe each song with one word, I’d list them as Joy. Hope. Heart. Friendship. Energy. Inspiration. Motivation. The basic message is to love yourself and love others,” SaulPaul states.

We look forward to seeing SaulPaul take the floor of the fieldhouse on Wednesday, October 5th, at 9:00am to speak to our school about his message, #BeTheChange! We are honored to have such a prestigious guest speaker coming to our community.
