I’m sure you or your family has a subscription to at least one service that lets you access movies and tv shows. So, that leaves us with one question; what are the best shows to watch online? Here are some of New Castle High School students’ top picks.
The first show is Criminal Minds. This show follows members of the FBI and how they work together to solve problems facing their unit in the FBI (Behavioral Analysis Unit). The show also has drama such as their personal lives. Freshman, Rhiannon Fisher, said this about the show. “It’s the perfect mix of drama and plot line as well as action. It keeps you interested in the crime aspect.” Multiple other students said similar things about the show. It’s a must watch if you’re looking for a thrilling drama!
The next show is On My Block. This show is a coming-of-age drama revolving around four kids who live in South Central Los Angeles. On My Block is a Netflix original, and is one of their most popular shows. Freshman, Aaliyah Anderson, said this about the show. “Lot’s of drama and feelings of suspense. It’s an all around good show that’ll keep you on your toes!” This is another New Castle High School favorite!
The final show is a Squid game. The show is centered around people in South Korea who are in serious debt. These people willingly join a game where they fight in various children’s games for money. This is another Netflix original and has become a global phenomenon. Freshman, Jarris Adams, thought this about the show. “What makes the show good is the main story line and all the suspense that comes with it.” Another hit that’s not just popular at the school, but around the world.
